Hajar, the mother of Ismail, was a patient woman entrusted by Prophet Abraham. By Allah’s command, Ibrahim left her and their infant son Ismail in a barren valley with no water, no shade, and no companion. Yet Hajar carried something greater than provisions: a deep trust that whispered, “My Lord will not forsake me here.” In the very valley where the Kaaba now stands, a mother’s tears flowed before Allah’s mercy burst forth as Zamzam. Her run became a trace of patience that believers reenact in worship until the Day of Judgment.
