Prophet Zechariah and the Prayer Against Despair

Prophet Zechariah spent his life serving the religion of Allah, devoted to worship in the quiet corners of the sanctuary. He had grown old, his hair turning white, and his wife had long passed the age of bearing children. Yet his heart carried a gentle ache: the longing for a child who would carry the trust after him, someone to continue the legacy of servitude.
