Prophet Abraham grew up in a society devoted to idol worship. From a young age, he questioned with both mind and heart the beliefs of his people. While everyone bowed to statues carved from stone and wood, he thought, “A true god cannot be like this.” In the stillness of night, he studied the stars, the moon, and the sun—realizing that anything that rises and sets cannot be divine. His heart ultimately found certainty and peace in the Lord of the heavens and the earth. But this surrender placed him on a path of trial—against his own family and the entire community.
