When Prophet Moses was called to Mount Sinai, he entrusted the Children of Israel to his brother, Prophet Aaron. Aaron was gentle in nature, deeply understanding of his people, and gifted in softening hearts. His task was to preserve their faith in God until Moses returned and to keep their scattered emotions united. Yet among the people were those who longed for their old pagan customs and waited for an opportunity to revive them. With Samiri’s deceit, a calf made of gold was fashioned, and a dangerous movement grew around it. Aaron’s test emerged at this very moment — shaped by patience, wisdom, and calm restraint.
