The Advice of Luqman to His Son

Luqman is mentioned in the Qur’an as a servant who was “granted wisdom.” He was a man who contemplated deeply, saw beyond appearances, and behaved with balance and sincerity. Some narrations say he was not a prophet but a righteous servant, yet Allah honored him through the advice he gave his son. Luqman guided not only with words but with example — instilling gratitude, pure monotheism, and upright character into his son’s heart.
